Pilgrimages to the Holy Land were the primary focus of our early years, with tour members returning home happy and spreading the word about the Rostad Tours experience. Soon they began to ask "Where else can we travel and receive the same care and attention?" This encouraged us to expand our horizons and over the years we've been fortunate to send groups to virtually all areas of the world. Here is a list of our destinations. Cross the Jordan River to admire the view from Mount Nebo and experience the thrill of entering the magnificent site of Petra. 	Most of our European tours highlight a different region such as Scandinavia, Central Europe, Western Europe, Eastern Europe or Spain and Portugal. Europe has something for everyone: from the towering Alps to the lowlands of Holland, from the opulent palace at Versailles to the awe-inspiring Sistine Chapel, and from the majestic Norwegian fjords to the canals of Venice. Special events are often incorporated into the tours, such as the Passion Play in Oberammergau or Floriade in Holland, and concerts in celebrated venues such as Schonbrunn Palace. 	With a common language, easy flight accessibility, plus close historic and religious ties, visiting Great Britain and Ireland has a strong appeal to Canadians. Our tours usually start by visiting the Cook Islands or Fiji to rest up before getting into serious sightseeing. You'll experience everything from glaciers, fjords and beaches to meadows and rain forests.
