Today is at your leisure to explore. Perhaps take a stroll along the beach and dip your toes in the Mediterranean. Friday is a Holy Day, check for venues that are open before setting out.
We arrive at Cairo International Airport and start our tour with a visit to the Egyptian Museum. Later, we'll transfer to our hotel for the night.
Today we visit the Pyramids and Sphinx at Giza and continue on to Memphis & Sakkara (where the first great pyramid was built) before returning to our hotel for the night.
After breakfast, we check-out of our hotel and transfer to the Cairo Domestic Airport for our flight to Luxor. Upon arrival we will be transfered to our Nile Cruise Ship. After lunch on board, visit the Temple of Luxor and Karnak. Later we return to our ship to enjoy dinner and our first night on board.
After breakfast we cross the Nile to visit the Thebes Necropolis: Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. In the afternoon we cruise to Esna and cross the Esna Lock before proceeding on to Edfu. We return to the ship for dinner on board and a good night's sleep.
Today we visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu by horse and carriage.
Lunch is on board and we cruise to Kom Ombo to visit the Temple shared by the two Gods Sobek and Hareoris. Later, we continue on to Aswan to enjoy dinner on board our ship and to spend the night.
The day begins with a visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Temple of Philae; in the afternoon we sail in small sail boats called Feluccas around the Botanical Gardens and the Agha Khan Mausoleum. Dinner and our last night on board follows the day's adventures.
Today we disembark from our cruise ship after breakfast and transfer to the Aswan Airport for our return flight to Cairo. We will transfer to our hotel for the day to relax before our return flight home, or opt for an additional tour in Cairo. Some options to consider include an optional Nile Pharaoh Dinner cruise with Belly and Dervish Dancers. Tonight we say goodbye to Egypt and we are transferred to the Airport for our departure flight home.
